Poca High's show choir, Visual Volume, is ranked #9 in the US in small choirs.
“ Homeroom Show Choir” a national ranking system, resource program and music advocacy program for show choirs throughout the United States, has ranked Visual Volume in its Top 10 Tier II (Small Mixed) show choirs. Poca's choir ranked 9th out of their top 100 small mixed choirs in the United States. We are also the highest ranked small mixed show choir for the state of WV.
The ranking system is based on the number of competitions attended, placements, and a difficulty scale for each competition attended.
Visual Volume had a very successful year, making finals in every competition, including Marion Harding, which featured some of the top large choirs in the US.
Our director, Mr. Rose, and all of Visual Volume are looking forward to another great year next year!
