Registration for Putnam County's FREE Four-Year-Old Pre-K Program opens on January 21, 2025, at 8:00 AM.

Navigate to MENU > PARENTS > PREK.
Click the “Sign-Up” button to start the process.

Eligibility Requirements:
Child must live in Putnam County.
Child must turn four years old before July 1, 2025.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Dec. 20th students will be dismissing starting at 11:10 am. Make sure transportation changes are communicated with your child's teacher.

After school Christmas Play practice for tomorrow and Wednesday has been cancelled.
Family Night at the Book Fair is tonight from 5pm-7pm. Our very own Mrs. Shortridge will also be here doing a book signing of her last way book release."The Last Christmas Tree".
Fifth grade is selling Giovanni’s pizza - pre-orders will be ready, and a limited amount of pizza will be available for sale as well! Proceeds will benefit the 5th grade graduation activities.
Our Read A Thon is doing AWESOME !! Our students have logged a total of 12175 minutes so far & have raised $3965. We still have until Nove. 17th so keep logging in those minutes. Our school goal is $6000 so please help us reach that goal,.
This is Red Ribbon Week Tuesday: United we stand for a Drug Free Land- Wear Red/White/Blue Wednesday: Don't get mixed up in drugs , wear Mismatch clothes day. Thursday: put a lid on drugs , Waer your favorite hat Hat Day or Prek wear your costume Friday: Scare away drugs , wear your costume
Please encourage your student to wear orange on Unity Day on October 18th. The day was established by Pacers National Bullying Prevention. The message for the day is simply be yourself, stand up against bullying & be kind! Even little acts of kindness go a long way. The color orange is the symbol because orange is associated with October & with safety.
On certain days each week students can choose a hot lunch or a school lunchable.
This is a great option for our students who usually pack their lunches.
This month the dates are:
10/2 (Pizza), 10/4 (Ham),
10/11 (uncrustable), 10/16 (Nacho) , 10/19 (Ham slider), 10/22, 10,25. Each Lunchable comes with a chip, vegetable, fruit and dessert.
Lots of coffee cart goodies left in the lounge , help yourself
Valentine Dance Volunteer information:
If you would like to chaperone the Valentine Dance on Friday, you must contact Maggie Tardy by Tuesday, February 7th: maggie.tardy@gmail.com
A detailed email will be sent to all volunteers who have signed up.
A make-up Volunteer Training session will be held Tuesday evening immediately following the PTO meeting at 6pm.
