The PCTC ProStart Team was awarded the silver medal at the 15th annual ProStart Hospitality Cup competition at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown, WV for their excellent menu planning and culinary skills. Team members earned a combined total of $30,000+ in scholarships as a result of their hard work. The team was coached by Chef Stephen Owens, who is a 2009 PCTC graduate and former ProStart winner himself.

Their winning menu offered a contemporary reinvention of classic low country cuisine.
